Special Education PAC

Mission Statement

We are a cross-functional team comprised of parents, educators and school administrators.

The group’s function is to inform and empower
parents and guardians whose children have special education needs. The group meets once a month and provides a forum to discuss educational needs, identify resources and provide information on district programs. Additionally, the group meets regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the school district's special education programs and advises the School Committee on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students with disabilities. Membership is open to individuals who have a vested interest in special education in the city of Waltham.
